I had thought of this blogsite as a medium for compiling some of my favorite articles published by the Philippine Daily Inquirer under “Youngblood”. In fact, I just adapted the column name as the name of this blog. Frankly, I am quite apprehensive as I might be violating copyright regulations. But, I’m waiting for somebody who would say, “you are indeed,” or, “may not really be”, or, “wait, till someone makes the first move”.
On the other hand, I ventured to test the waters, so-to-speak, because somewhere on the upper right hand corner of the page as it appears on the Inq.net, this one can be found:
| Â ARTICLE SERVICES: |

I had presumed that permission to print and/or reprint is tantamount to being granted the permission to copy, recopy or when “save” from the computer lingo also mean the same thing.
Now, I really need someone, a legal mind maybe, to reconcile these things out. As I said, I love these articles and this is my way of preserving them quite creatively. Otherwise, I can just save them to my hard disk and there is no case when no complainant would know.
I hope I am safe, even on the ethics side, for what I sincerely love to indulge in. Any advice, anyone?
